South Camden Theatre Company is proud to bring you the off Broadway hit and award winning play THE EXONERATED by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen. THE EXONERATED is based on interviews with forty exonerated death-row inmates from across the United States. It is the winner of the Outer Circle Critics Award for best off-Broadway play of 2003.

The Exonerated is produced by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc

A MESSAGE FROM THE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR:
I have been obsessed with this play for quite some time and with recent events, this subject matter is particularly relevant.

We at South Camden Theatre Company are dedicated to continuing to bring socially relevant theatre to Camden. To quote Tom Joad in John Steinbeck ’s Grapes of Wrath: “Maybe all men got one big soul ever'body's a part of.'

This production is more than a night at the theatre. It is an event and an opportunity to act if you are so inspired.

The people you will see in this performance could’ve been any of us. I hope their stories stay with you long after this evening is over. Please take the time to recognize the possibilities to make your voice heard. If we ’ve done our job on stage, hopefully you will.

Art Will Save Us!
